Dulko is no good!
Won chase ticket upgrade yeah
I dont’t understand why people use metro card on the buses. You get a discount with the metro card.
Federer is down 5-4 first set.
Buying on Craigslist
Got jerked around by these assholes on craiglist. I was going to get a Citizen Gothem folding bike. Last night she told me to come at 12 and this morning she said her husband will handle and I can’t come until 5:30 but at 5 she email me that they sold the bike. I was on my way there already. What a freaking waste of time and 4 dollars on the subway. On top of that, my metro card is...
Caught every trains just in time and found 2 dollars as I get of the subway;)
iphone tether

2009 US Open
Went to the first day of the 2009 US Open and watched a lot of tennis. The game is tennis is completely changed now. It is all about power and pace. Even the women are hitting it all out. It is now a physical game and if you are not physically gifted you have not shot of making it any more. I can’t see any tennis players in the future being under 6 feet tall.
Cotton blend light weight T-shirt
Where can I get some cheap light weight cotton blend t-shirt to wear when I play tennis?
Sweating
I noticed that I am sweating a lot more than before now. Is it part of getting old? In less than half an hour of tennis and I would be soak like I just came out of the shower. I used to play in 119 deg when I was in LA and a lot younger and still didn’t sweat so much.
Fort Greene Tennis courts
Played at Fort Greene this morning. They have 6 hard courts over there. There are a lot of people before eight but they kind a thin out just before nine. It is first come first serve with no sign in so it could be hard to get a court during some hours of the day.
Hudson river park Tennis courts
Played at the tennis courts at the Hudson river park. There are 3 courts there and you don’t need a tennis permit. You just have to wait in line. There are lights there so you can play after sunset. I don’t think they are tennis court lights so they don’t seen too bright. If you live in the city, the river front is a good place to hang out in the Summer and play some...
Adidas ClimaCool Genius Novak
Got a pair of Adidas ClimaCool Genius Novak tennis shoe in 7 1/2 medium. Just try it on over this weekend. The length is corroect but it is fairly narrow for a medium width shoe! I hope after a while, it will loosen up. I won’t be getting tennis shoe on the way it looks from now on. I have always wore Adidas tennis shoes but the last 3 pairs I got they were not all that...
my bike kind a suck
I have a 21 speed mountain bike but it is kind a suck. I got pass by 2 girls and one is on a folding bike and she can climb better than me. I can’t get it to over over 21 mph even downhill. I think I may get a folding bike after all. It can’t be worst than the one that I have now and I think I can carry it on to subway easier.
2009 Dragon Boat Festival in Flushing Meadow →
This weekends is the 2009 Dragon boat Festival in Flushing Meadow park (Meadow lake) Go check it out. There seen to be less teams than last year. I guess it has to do with the economy. There is no team from any Wall Street firm this year.
Red Clay
Played on red clay tennis court today. It is similar if the same as the clay on Central Park except that they are red not gray. I still like the hard court better. Whenever you put the balls in your pocket, you put in a handful of clay/sand.
Rain
I figured that if I go out early then I should get back before the rain. But wouldn’t you know it when I get of the train it was raining cats and dogs and it never let up. The moment I got back home, it stop raining :( That’s just my luck for the past few months. I don’t believe a person can have nothing but bad luck so there must be something good for me and I just...

Fake bags at NY Chinatown
I was down by Broadway and Canal today and there are at least 3 to 4 people at one corner selling fake bags. Just at that one intersection, there are at least 12 people selling it. Are there really that many people come to Chinatown to buy fake bags?
Bill Moyers Journal
What is Bill Moyers talking about on this week Journal? Is he joining the Republican on attacking the President Health care reform? He and his guests kept saying that no one understand the health care reform but just this morning on This week with George Stephanopolulos Paul Krugman said the proposed plan is well defined and easy to understand. Are these people too dumb or too lazy to understand...
Disc brakes on bicycle?
I saw 2 mountain bikes with both front and rear disc brakes. Is it really necessary? Does disc brake work as well on bicycle as on motocycle? Even new small size motorcycles today don’t have front and rear disc brakes.
Head Liquidmetal and MicroGel Tennis Rackets
Played 3 hours of tennis today. I started the first with the Liquidmetal Radical Midplus it was ok but then I switched to the MicroGel Radical Midplus and it felt even better. The MicroGel does feel more solid on impact and less virbration. The Midplus is a bit longer than the standard 27 inch length.
Liquidmetal, MicroGEL, and AeroGEL
I played with the Liquidmetal Radical Midplus, MicroGel Radical Midplus and the AeroGel 200 today. They all feel similar. Some how the Liquidmetal felt the lightest and I could be a bit lazy with it. It is fairly solid on impact. The MicroGel is a bit more solid and the AeroGel felt the heaviest. I think value wise, the Liquidmetal comes out on top because it is only $70 and the AeroGel is...

Rain
It rain all day today. Can’t even get out to play some tennis :(
Dunlop Aerogel 200
I got the Dunlop Aerogel 200 this week and I played with it on Friday and it was feeling ok. In fact the balls were not as deep as I would like. I played with it again today and the balls are flying out. Not sure what happened. I do noticed that I am too close to the ball on backhand and I am not moving as well as I should today.
NYC Chinatown buses to Philadelphia
I think there are really only 2 Chinatown buses that go to Philadelphia and they are Eastern and New Century. They may sell tickets under different name like Apex bus or even Mega bus but it is still Eastern. Eastern is only 8 dallors one way and 15 round trip. I think you can only buy ticket at NYC. I couldn’t see where they sell ticket at Philadelphia and they only has bus every 2 and...
Tennis courts
Clay courts are fairly messy. Your sock and shoe get all dusted up. If you put the balls in your pocket, you end up with a pocket of sand. I have to say I still like hard court the best. Unless you’re playing on a very well kept clay court, you don’t even know how the ball going to bounce. Now I know why even the pro have to take some time to adjust to clay for the French open.
NY Central Park Tennis Courts
I can’t believe that you can only play for an hour at the Central Park Tennis court. That is just warm up. I never really like playing there. So many rules and regulations. Most other public courts in NYC are mostly empty and you can play for as long as you like.
Tennis courts in NYC
There are a lot of great park and tennis courts around Manhattan. A lot of these places are on the water front which is very nice but the problem with these areas is that they are cut off by highways. In order to cross over these highways, it could take a while because the overpasses are far and few.
Babolat Racquet Diagnostic Center (RDC)
Does anyone know of a Pro Tennis shop in or around New York City that has a Babolat Racquet Diagnostic Center?
Jackson Heights, NY
Went to Jackson Heights yesterday morning. I was surpraised by the number of people that were up and above at 8 AM Sunday morning. Normally, I would still be in bed :) Went there to pick up my Jack Kramer Tennis racket. It was not in as good a shape as I would like but I didn’t pay much for it. Maybe I will even hit with it.
Chest hair on Women?
I think I saw a woman with chest hair yesterday! She is fat old lady so I wasn’t too interested to have a better look. Is it possible for women to have chest hair?
Dunlop Aerogel 200 (18x20)
Played with a Dunlop Aeroget 200 yesterday. I like it a lot. I just ordered one from Holibird Sport today. I tried to get it from Tennis warehouse but their basket seem odd to me and I wasn’t sure if I were ordering what I really wanted.
For old timer like me who learned to play with wood, the Aerogel 200 feel very good. I like the way that it swing and hit. I could really hit through...
Babolat Tennis Rackets
Tried out the Babolat Pure Drive Roddick GT and the Babolat Pure Storm Tour today. I am not overly crazy about these rackets. They still feel stiff and swing heavy for me. The Pure Drive Roddick GT has all the bell and whisle like woofer and cortex system but I can still feel the miss hits. For some reason, I don’t see to be able to hit thru the ball with these rackets. At the end of the...
Wimbledon 2009 men's final
I can’t believe Roddick folded after winning some many service games and still lost the match. I watched up to 14-14 on the fifth set then went out to play tennis and within 2 games it was over. I thought it could go on for at least an hour.
Played 2 hours of tennis today and I am about 40% back.
This is a 7.5 minutes short film with sync sound. Shot in 16mm. This is about modern day relationship. Take a look.
July 4th 2009
Getting back into Tennis. Played an hour of tennis at prospect park today then went out for a 2 hours bike ride. Only one court was used at Juniper Valley Park when I was there. :( Will play there tomorrow. Hope it will be as empty as today. Heading out to see the firework. :)
MTA
Does anyone ride the V train? I can’t see more than 500 people on that train in a whole day. It doesn’t go anywhere. Why don’t they stop running that line and save some money?

Kodachrome
This is the day that the colors fade away…
With global warming, the summers may not be as green as it was anyway. It maybe fitting for Kodachrome to end in the Summer of 2009! What Mama gives, Mama will take away.
At least we have the lyric of Paul Simon on Kodachrome.
I got a Nikon camera I love to take a photograph So mama don’t take my Kodachrome away If you took all the girls I...

reflection
The way we look at and think of other people is a relection of ourself. We all think that we are better and deserve more than other. 99.9 percent of us are really the same. At the end we will die and no one other than our family and friends will remember us and we have lived and died without making any contribution to the world. We just existed for some number of years and that’s that.
